Value Added Services

- Cash On Delivery ( COD ) : Choosing this service the customer requests NAQEL to collect the invoice value of the goods from the consignee and handover back to the customer/shipper.

- Freight On Delivery ( FOD ) : Nahr Al-Ataa collects only the freight value of the consignment, duly payable to Nahr Al-Ataa.

- Out Of Delivery Area ( ODA ) / Remote Delivery : Nahr Al-Ataa either collects (pickup) or deliver shipment to a city / area which is not serviced by Nahr Al-Ataa regularly, this ideally means the shipment is either to be picked up or to be delivered to a city / location / area which does not enjoy regular service by Nahr Al-Ataa, due to inaccessibility or insufficient volumes.

- Delivery next day to the major cities in Syria and Lebanon.

- Insurance : Our company takes every possible effort to safe guard your package from damages, but some acts of nature are beyond the control of it which may affect the shipment. To ensure peace of mind for our customers we offer shipment insurance service. This helps our customers to be secured financially.

- Compensation : In the event of losing or damaging any package or goods carried during the shipping process caused by us, the sender will be compensated for each missed package a maximum amount of five times of transport fares. This compensation as a discharge meets the comprehensive rights of others, taking into account that we are not responsible for any compensation to the recipient; without the right to claim damages from us.

- Hold For Consignee Collection of the Shipment : In an event, where the consignee is alone/travelling out of the delivery address, it becomes easy for him/her to collect the shipment from Nahr Al-ataa’s office. Ideally, we hold the shipment free for ten business days, post which charges apply (demurrage charges).
